Westchester Interfaith/Interagency Network for Disaster and Emergency Recovery
Westchester Interfaith/Interagency Network for Disaster and Emergency Recovery (WINDER) was founded in June 2007 in response to local flooding in Mamaroneck, New York, from the April 2007 nor'easter in order to coordinate long-term community and faith-based organizational assistance in response to local disasters as well as better prepare the community for future disasters.{{cite news|url=https://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/01/nyregion/nyregionspecial2/01weekwe.html|title=The Week in Westchester|first=Barbara|last=Whitaker|date=July 1, 2007|via=NYTimes.com}} WINDER was a non-profit{{cite web|url=http://harringtononline.blogspot.com/2007/06/new-organization-picks-up-post-flood.html|title=New Organization Picks Up Post-Flood Aid Where Fema Left Off}} coalition of about a dozen local churches, community groups and charitable organizations.
