Western Wisconsin Conference

The Western Wisconsin Conference is a former high school athletic conference in west central Wisconsin. Founded in 1931 and disbanded in 1937, all members were affiliated with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association.

The Western Wisconsin Conference was formed by three large high schools in western Wisconsin in 1931: Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire and La Crosse Central.{{Cite news |date=4 January 1932 |title=New High School Athletic Group Formed at Meet |url=https://www.newspapers.com/image/416982368/?match=1&terms=%22western%20wisconsin%20conference%22 |access-date=26 February 2025 |work=Chippewa Herald-Telegram |pages=7}} It was created to guarantee scheduled games for its member schools in response to the dwindling number of independent high schools in the area.
