History
In 1952, Gerald “Jerry” Robinson, owner of Robinson Newspapers, purchased the White Center News (1923).{{Cite web |date=May 27, 2014 |title=Robinson Newspapers publisher Jerry Robinson dies at 94 |url=https://westseattleblog.com/2014/05/robinson-newspapers-publisher-jerry-robinson-dies-at-94/ |access-date=2024-09-16 |website=West Seattle Blog |language=en-US}} He founded the Federal Way News in 1954 and launched the Des Monies News in 1963.
