A school in Dhaka. There is no point in writing an article like this because there is nothing special about this school. Somajyoti ✉ 19:46, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

- Keep - there are a lot of highly notable Schools in Bangladesh, but simply they do not come to any news unless there is a incident. So finding citation for them is quite hard but they are notable. If you google you can find that. — Cerium4B—Talk? • 12:33, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
- {{reply-to|Cerium4B}} You may feel the school is worthy of notice, and it may be a good school, but for its purposes Wikipedia defines the term "notable" as having gained significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time, as evidenced by significant coverage in sources that are reliable and independent. If they "do not come to any news" and "finding citation for them is quite hard", then you are basically proving they are not notable (in the Wikipedia sense) and therefore not a suitable topic for a stand alone encyclopedia article. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:21, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
- Keep, Yeah, read WP:Three, It'll be nice and you should check sources to add something uncommon backed by sources, but of course I didn't see none of that being done by you right now, Wikipedia articles are not supposed to be edited and improved only by the creator of the article, if so, what are the point of contributions? Macarius Ibne Mito (talk), 7:56 AM, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah funny, "there is nothing special", then why don't you add something special? hmm? Even just check, I'm not asking you to be a robot, I'm just telling you to check, and please explain how this is a valid argument and instead of saying "instead you should answer how this is...", aren't you also a Wikipedia contributor or are you only focused on AfDs? - Delete This is my first time creating a source assessment table, so take it with a grain of salt, but it seems to show that the school fails WP:NORG, even if the ittefaq.com.bd one was absolutely perfect. I was unable to find any other WP:42 sources using Google, DuckDuckGo or [https://news.google.com/newspapers Google's newspaper archives].

- Comment Kudos to {{U|OutsideNormality}} for doing a source assessment. To expand on their work:
- Banglanews24.com is a major news publisher in the country (as are Dhaka Tribune, The Daily Ittefaq, UNB, and Daily Sun). It is reliable for what news organizations are usually reliable for, despite listing only one editor in their footer. The generic byline doesn't make the story unreliable, but should make readers consider whether it is a press release, and therefore not independent.
- The Daily Ittefaq is about the school's annual sports competition, so it is not significant coverage because it fails WP:ORGTRIV. Furthermore, at the bottom it says it is a press release from ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), so it is not independent.
- The Daily Sun article also gets its information from "an ISPR release", so it is not independent. The opening of a new school is a more significant happening than routine events at the school, so I wouldn't disqualify it on the grounds of WP:ORGTRIV, but there's room for debate when a national paper covers something local to the city where they're published.
- The net effect is the same as the original table, there are zero independent, reliable, secondary sources containing significant coverage of the topic. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:09, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
- Delete Searches in English and Bengali found nothing but press releases, non-significant coverage, job postings, and passing mentions. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:33, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
