  • Keep Playing for the national team meets the WP:GNG criteria. Number of refs is a) not a reason for deletion and b) in this specific case 2 refs for a stub article is the going rate. MarnetteD|Talk 18:40, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
  • Keep First the nom's rationale isn't a reason for deletion. How are they non-notable? Why does only 2 sources = deletion? Secondly, the person meets WP:NFOOTY having played for the national team. And thirdly, a quick WP:BEFORE finds stuff like [http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/africa/4376527.stm this] which states he was also the team captain and later became the national coach.
