I can find no sources (official or otherwise) saying that this show is actually announced or planned. There are occasional rumors about it, but even those seem to end up being traced back to Wikipedia. Dori ☾Talk ⁘ Contribs☽ 02:42, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

- Delete, unverifiable. Hairhorn (talk) 15:47, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete as a hoax. There is absolutely nothing out there about this existing at all, so it would stand to reason that given the amount of detailed information that is here despite that, it is completely made up. I've gone ahead and tagged the article for Speedy Deletion, in the hopes that this discussion can be closed early. I see in the history that the page was already tagged for Speedy Deletion, but an anonymous IP removed that tag improperly. Rorshacma (talk) 17:46, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Merge to the cartoon network page, viable search term, this link proves that the channel is celebrating the anniversary http://adultswimcentral.com/2012/03/24/cartoon-network-to-air-best-of-with-special-hosts/ Seasider91 (talk) 21:20, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Comment: Note that adultswimcentral.com is just an Adult Swim fansite—the guy who writes it doesn't know any more than what's in his Twitter stream and his TV program guide. Dori ☾Talk ⁘ Contribs☽ 21:52, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
::* Comment: Stumbled upon this page from my referers. That's a little bit more than insulting (especially coming from a Wiki contributor.) I am the Chief of Operations over at adultswimcentral.com and we're (a say we're because there's more than one person writing) a news blog that posts news that 9 times out of 10 [adult swim] normally either sends us or posts online. I have no problem with the deletion of this entry, considering the article in question from my site is about the recent Cartoon Planet revival and has nothing to do with a 20th Anniversary Special. You might want to think about doing a little research before you make judgments, Dori. Sentroid91 ☾Talk ⁘ Contribs☽ 21:31, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
:::*FWIW, I did do some research: for instance, I read the [http://adultswimcentral.com/?page_id=108 site's about page]. Re-reading it, it still sounds to me as if it's describing a one-man operation. As to the "twitter stream and TV program guide" bit, well, that's what the linked article says it's relying on.
Nice sig, btw. Dori ☾Talk ⁘ Contribs☽ 03:56, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
::::*You missed the Staff, page though (http://adultswimcentral.com/?page_id=129). I also amended the about page in case there was any confusion between the current site and the MST3000 site I ran in 1998. Sentroid91 Talk Contribs 00:22, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Comment: Also, the page linked to does not mention anything with "20th Anniversary Special" in its title. The writer refers to something with a different title, and says "I would assume this is a one-time anniversary special" (my emphasis). Scarcely convincing evidence. - Delete Although I have just declined the speedy, that is only because hoaxes must be "blatant and obvious" to be speedy deleted. There is a possibility that this show really is going to happen at some point so I would say it just barely squeks by on that, but the majority of the content is unverified and probably is in fact made up/speculative. Specifically oppose the merge reasoning above, we should never merge unverified content, which is all we have here. A simple redirect, maybe, but not a merge. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:48, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Comment - Just as a related aside, we seem to have a large number of SPA anonymous IP's who are doing nothing but removing the AFD notice from this article and repeatedly adding unsourced information about this show to the List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network article. Its rather annoying. Rorshacma (talk) 17:28, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
::Actually, they also do a few other disruptive things, such as adding highly dubious unsourced content to this article. The IPs all turn out to be dynamic IPs from one ISP in Chile. I have semiprotected the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 00:19, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
::::Thanks, that helps prevent some of the ongoing vandalism. I don't suppose there's a way to semi-protect the List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network article as well? Its getting a little tiresome having to repeatedly remove the false info this group of IPs keeps adding to it regarding this supposed show. Rorshacma (talk) 23:07, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:N. Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 04:01, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Delete As discussion has proceeded, it has become clear that this is at best speculation, and at worst a hoax. It is completely unverifiable, and certainly not notable. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:38, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
