• Keep between her being a judge and consort to a state governor, the sources are there to write an article about her. The WP:GNG can prove notability when the specific guidelines strictly would not confer it. There are dozens of reliable sources out there on her- but some are listed as [http://www.governor.maryland.gov/firstlady/biography.asp Katie O'Malley]. • Snow keep, you're kidding, right? The wife of a US governor, even if she weren't a judge is likely to be notable or at worst covered in the governor's article. Deletion unneeded here. On Google News I [http://news.google.com/archivesearch?&as_src=-newswire+-wire+-presswire+-PR+-press+-release+-wikipedia&q=%22Catherine+Curran+O%27Malley%22 get 200+ hits] so sources also certainly exist. -- Banjeboi 15:11, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
• Keep - At first I was staying neutral because I was simply completing the required AfD process for an inexperienced user. But now I certainly agree with the votes above. Ms. O'Malley has plenty of notability not just as a first lady but as a professional in her own right. The sources are plentiful and easily located. • Keep, As the creator of this article, I obviously support keeping it. While I acknowledge that simply being related to a politician does not necessarily meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for biography articles, in this case Catherine Curran O'Malley has her own legal career for which she has some notability. Furthermore, I agree with the other contributors to this discussion that being the First Lady of a U.S. state does give her some degree of notability, and that expansion of the article using the sources quoted would improve the article.--TommyBoy (talk) 10:40, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
