Lacks significant coverage in multiple independent sources. There is a claim the building is listed, but it's not in the [https://www.historicenvironment.scot/advice-and-support/listing-scheduling-and-designations/listed-buildings/search-for-a-listed-building/ official database]. Even if it was, there are 47,400 listed buildings in Scotland - a simple listing isn't sufficient to pass WP:NBUILD as significant coverage is still required. --Pontificalibus 08:16, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

::Sure, but per my nom it's not actually listed. It's not in the national authoritative database. To confirm that this isn't a mistake, I have just viewed nearby planning applications on Edinburgh Council's [https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/planningcomments website]. Application 19/00863/FUL for 236 Gorgie Road has as a background document an "Archaeological desk based assessment" which states at the bottom of page nine that there are three listed buildings within 250 metres of the site, none of which is this mission church.----Pontificalibus 16:43, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

  • Delete - Sadly, but it is just another church. Dear to its congregation no doubt, but not notable to the world. Even if it turns out that this is listed after all (and the nom. establishes genuine doubt on that point), it does not make it notable unless there are some WP:RS establishing notability, and my search for sources yielded nothing at all. -- Sirfurboy (talk) 20:05, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Comment My research suggests it is not a listed building (search on 'Gorgie' at http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/search ... 22 results, none promising.) It is listed on Canmore at https://canmore.org.uk/site/152775/edinburgh-gorgie-salvation-army-hall ... had it been a listed building, I'd have argued keep, since I disagree with {{u|Pontificalibus}} 'simple listing' thesis. I have a feeling that a 1908 mission with a story and in a corrugated building probably has the legs to get to notability, but it's far from there right now. So. Sorry that view from the fence is not more useful. --Tagishsimon (talk) 14:26, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Comment. I entirely agree with User:Tagishsimon above. Had it been a listed building it would have been a definite keep per WP:GEOFEAT. However, it definitely does not appear to be. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:12, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
