Don't believe he meets WP:MUSBIO. He has released 2 albums on what appear to be Indie labels but I suspect they aren't one of the more notable as required by #5. The link to Billboard is dead and a search for his name on Billboard.com doesn't return anything Gbawden (talk) 18:14, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

  • Weak KeepDelete: Via two references, especially the second, Barnes, I think is mildly over the fence into notability. Of course, it wouldn't hurt if more material and references were added to the article. I'll try to spend some time early next week doing just that. I'm not an indie music enthusiast per se, but I've heard his name pop up a lot, so I'm confident of finding more info to buttress his notability. Stevie is the man! • After an exhaustive search, while I do see the subject's name pop up a lot, it's in music-related blogs, social media sites, and music selling sites, rather than what most people would call strong secondary sources. A song of his was recently [http://insiderlouisville.com/news/2nd-serve-may-provide-a-second-boost-to-louisville-arts-music-scene/ used in the film 2nd Serve], but that essentially straight-to-Netflix movie doesn't have an article yet (if it's even notable). So, based on the LEO reference and the performer's high-quality work (a seemingly common impression), while I believe this artist is on the cusp of broader notability, he is currently notable only from a local perspective. So I vote to delete, but without any prejudice to the reintroduction of the article at a later time. Jamie, if you're reading, keep up the great work! Stevie is the man! • Delete Doesn't meet :WP:MUSBIO. The other references are not by reliable sources. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:01, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
  • I would submit that the second reference is reliable in that it's from a longstanding notable publication that has its own article here. That may not be enough to merit notability, but it is indeed reliable. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 11:39, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
