I couldn't find any decent sources in English during my WP:BEFORE searches, and the two references [https://hyundai-motorsfc.com/web/News/MotorsNews/MotorsNewsView.aspx?idx=12145] and [https://www.bluewings.kr/news/news_view.asp?seq=2415] in the corresponding kowiki article 404ed and they didn't seem to be available on the Wayback Machine either. As it stands, the article does not meet WP:SPORTBASIC, though I acknowledge that there may be better sources in Korean language with WP:SIGCOV, in which case I would happily withdraw my nomination. Comment. 200 K League games is an almost guaranteed notability. However there is an even more notable sports figure also named 김성근. I hope that a Korean speaker/reader contributes here. Geschichte (talk) 17:19, 3 February 2025 (UTC)

Keep clearly notable as pointed out above, 250+ games in top league in Korea. Did you search for Korean sources? WP:COMMONSENSE applies. Giant Snowman 21:03, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
Weak keep – Substantial number of appearances by important South Korean football teams. It lacks sources, but it is unlikely that there is nothing in Korean. Svartner (talk) 06:00, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
