Recommend deletion - Fails WP:NTEMP; Joe Biden went there in 2011 and made a flippant remark, causing brief news coverage that quickly faded. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sidatio (talkcontribs) 14:10, 9 September 2013‎ (UTC)

  • Keep. Kopp's is discussed in a variety of food and travel books as one of the most important frozen custard chains; Jane and Michael Stern write about it here [http://books.google.com/books?id=uha0mHZ-N8oC&pg=PA238&dq=Kopp%27s+%22Frozen+Custard%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=obsvUv6oKIae2wWhkIDQCQ&ved=0CFUQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=Kopp%27s%20%22Frozen%20Custard%22&f=false] and coverage in a whole bunch of other books shows up in a GBooks search [http://www.google.com/search?tbs=bks:1&q=Kopp%27s+Frozen+Custard]. --Arxiloxos (talk) 00:48, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Keep - Meets WP:CORPDEPTH per the following book sources: [http://books.google.com/books?id=029lW9iiDe4C&pg=PA236&dq=%22Kopp's+Frozen+Custard%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=eeEvUtDOLYWpiQKW34D4Dg&ved=0CDcQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=%22Kopp's%20Frozen%20Custard%22&f=false], [http://books.google.com/books?id=uha0mHZ-N8oC&pg=PA238&dq=Kopp%27s+%22Frozen+Custard%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=obsvUv6oKIae2wWhkIDQCQ&ved=0CFUQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=Kopp's%20%22Frozen%20Custard%22&f=false]. • Keep. Coverage is far from focused on the one-off non-event with Biden, nor is it purely regional. Although insufficient to determine notability on its own (but we have ample print sources, above), Travel Channel's 101 Tastiest Places to Chowdown featured Kopp's at #78. • Keep The article meets WP:GNG. One of the more important restaurant chains in Wisconsin. I hadn't heard about the Biden remark before this. Royalbroil 02:57, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Keep One of the important restaurant chains in Wisconsin. Thank you-RFD (talk) 18:47, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
  • That's quite a claim, and one which isn't substantiated by the article as it now stands. What makes it important to the state of Wisconsin? Ibadibam (talk) 20:58, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Keep - minimally notable. The local Journal-Sentinel coverage doesn't satisfy WP:CORPDEPTH, but the restaurant guides raised in this discussion are discriminating enough to indicate notability. Ibadibam (talk) 20:58, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Delete - there is one item on there that is of minimal notability (the joe biden visit) the rest is WP:NOTADVERTISING. => Spudgfsh (Text Me!) 22:06, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
