The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (organizations) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar, just a few mentions in passing here and there. PROD removed with no valid rationale. - Delete. Most large colleges in the US have one of these, and there is nothing to indicate that Purdue's is anything special. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 02:56, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Delete I cannot find RS beyond a student who was killed climbing. No rs beyond primary. It could be merged or redirected to Purdue University student body Lightburst (talk) 03:00, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

- Comment. I am no longer in charge of this page, it’s been passed on to others . I have contacted them to get involved if they wish to keep this page. There are several broken links to the sources which need to be corrected. I do not agree with the premise that since most college campuses have one of these that this page needs to be deleted (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_college_and_university_outing_clubs) if this were the case then all the college outdoor pages should be removed or merged to other articles/pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xavier3181 (talk • contribs) 03:47, 2 September 2020 (UTC) (I moved this from the top of this AfD because it was confusing to have it there. - Delete There is no justification for indepdent coverage of most of the clubs and organizations that exist over the years and in many different ways at a large university. If anything here is worth keeping it should be merged into the article on Purdue.John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:37, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per John Pack Lambert. There are no sources cited other than the club's own website and one article from the student newspaper at their university. In accordance with Xavier3181's comment, I would generally support the idea of deleting or merging articles about outdoor clubs at other colleges, too. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 23:23, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. There was a source that provided all the information in this article that was broken due to the organization changing their webpage contents. They are working to re-cite and re-write all the content for correct sourcing. Xavier3181 (talk) 06:52, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- The status of the club's own website should not really make a difference. I'm mostly concerned about whether the article cites independent sources. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 03:03, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Delete The Wikipedia is not a College Club Wiki. Graywalls (talk) 10:43, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
- 'Delete Agree Purdue has nothing special here for Wikipedia.TruthLover123 (talk) 20:44, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
