The only facts are sourced to GNIS, which isn't to be trusted for anything other than spelling, and to Ramsay. Ramsay's source is {{hdl|10355/82581}}, which in turn is sourced to an oral history from an assistant postmaster, giving a fairly trite factoid anyway. I cannot find any other documentation for this.
