Lack of reliable third-party sources to establish the notability of the subject. huji—TALK 22:46, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
:Comment Perhaps this should be moved to and reworked as Simple Machines (software company), if WP:NOTE applies. --Trevj (talk) 13:20, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

- Keep for same reason as in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/VBulletin. Also, per the previous AfD, the subject had quite a few book sources, and as notability is not temporary, the subject still meets notability. --Tathar (talk) 19:03, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
:Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.

- When concidering the notability of this software or the company behind it, you should concider it's been around for near 10 years already and is still active, and still free. You may also want to see http://rankings.big-boards.com/?filter=SMF,all - for some references. 46.30.132.129 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:13, 2 May 2011 (UTC).
- Keep - The coverage in Linux Journal listed under further reading is from a reliable 3rd party source, and along with the other sources discussed above appears to be sufficient to establish notability. Dialectric (talk) 15:24, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
