This article cites one (broken and non-independent) source. It reads as original research from beginning to end, as none of it is cited to sources. Notability appears to be claimed by inheritance only. Guy (Help!) 23:37, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

- Keep. Have added ten add'l inline WP:RS refs--books, newspapers, magazine, websites--and there are certainly others. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 07:16, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Merge. It's not clear that WP:BAND is met and the well-sourced material is almost entirely about the murder of the lead singer. The material would be more appropriate at Mia Zapata and much of it is already there. Dricherby (talk) 12:58, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

- Keep - WP:BAND is met by multiple releases on C/Z as well as simple GNG satisfaction by sources above. Mia was quite a little spitfire back in the day, she is still missed sorely. Tarc (talk) 16:18, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- SNOW Keep per WP:BAND and the sources added by User:Carrite. I find User:Dricherby's rationale above incorrect, since at least half the sources listed by Carrite are about the band, not Zapata. Replicating some of the information is acceptable - there should be some background about the band in the Zapata article, and some extra focus on Zapata in the band article. - Jorgath (talk) (contribs) 19:27, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- SNOW Keep Reliable sources abound, notability is clear. SteveStrummer (talk) 04:18, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
