A non-notable footballer, never played in national league (Brazilian Serie A to D), no Copa do Brazil game and a handful game in the state league first level. Matthew_hk tc 18:22, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

  • Delete - fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. GiantSnowman 10:18, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Weak delete - It's clear he never played in the Portugese league, nor in the Brazilian national leagues/cups. The article might marginally pass NFOOTBALL due to his one appearance in the Carioca championship, but I don't see evidence that the article would ever pass the GNG.   • Delete - as stated above, he fails WP:NSPORT as he appears to have not played ever. While this may be interesting trivia, he has not received significant coverage for it, and as such fails WP:GNG. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:50, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Comment - Although there are several claims here that the article fails NSPORT, I don't think that's accurate. There is an article at www.fferj.com.br that says he played two matches for Flamengo before having his contract cancelled. It's very likely that he played in the 2006 Campeonato Carioca (a fully-pro competition), but the match reports (Sumulas) are no longer available at [http://www.fferj.com.br/Campeonatos2006/Carioca2006/tcguanabara.htm the FFERJ website for that competition]. The bigger question is whether a player with so little professional experience should have an article if the GNG cannot realistically be met. Jogurney (talk) 19:13, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
