Function Details:

• Gets a list of pages that include an orphan tag but now have incoming links
• Find "\{\{ *orphan *(\| *(date|att) *= *(January|February|March|April|May|June|July|August|September|October|November|December) 200[0-9] *){0,2} *\}\}" and replace with nothing
• Save page and be done

• I remember reading somewhere that an orphan constituted an article with one or less incoming links. How will the bot operate upon finding these? Also, will the bot distinguish between the namespaces - ie if it is only made unorphaned by a link from within userspace or projectspace, will the bot leave the orphan tag alone? — neuro^(talk) 12:01, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

The bot will read from [http://toolserver.org/~jason/data/adopted_orphans_list.txt this page] The page will show any article that has 3 or more incoming links from the article space (not disambiguations).
