AudeBot

[[User:AudeBot|AudeBot]]

{{Newbot|AudeBot}}

Operator: --Aude (talk)

Automatic or Manually Assisted: Manually assisted

Programming Language(s): Python - using pywikipedia

Function Summary: resolve links to disambiguation pages

Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Occasional, maybe daily at first or a few times per week

Already has a bot flag (Y/N): N

Function Details: I would like to use the solve_disambiguation script that is part of pywikipedia scripts to help sort out links to disambiguation pages. I did one test edit, using an alternative account [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_extinct_states&diff=prev&oldid=247712475], and see there are 700+ other wikilinks going to the Georgia disambiguation page. If I'm going to do more of these edits, I would like to use a separate, bot account, and get approval here. --Aude (talk) 05:05, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
