Function details: I can even post the regex used in AWB. It just replaces dmy/mdy and ISO dates to the correct dates, and updates the date of the templates. Three tests I did:

2. {{Diff|Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad|prev|678408851|Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad|diffonly=yes}}

The bot won't do any other corrections, only the updates.
