Can you show example diffs for each of these three tasks? Can you assure that the process this uses is not prone to too much error? I am not sure how this works. Voice-of-All 01:30, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

:Sure. These are examples of manually executed changes:

:* [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pok%C3%A9mon&diff=prev&oldid=75947237 regex replacement]

:* [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tone_%28linguistics%29&diff=76001606&oldid=72721400 expansion]

:The Pywikipedia-framework allows you to run interactively. I'll be able to see the diff of a proposed change and can approve or deny it. For the first case of regex replacement, I'll be able to approve several single proposed edits before approving the use of the regex for all pages that link to IPA.

:The other two points will use the disambiguation script, which REQUIRES manual selection of what term to use. In other words, the bot won't really do anything by itself for this--it will instead make it easier and quicker for me to disambiguate. --Karnesky 05:25, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

::Fair enough. How many pages, roughly, will this be ran on?Voice-of-All 14:21, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

:::Between 1700 and 1800 (those that link to IPA). --Karnesky 16:51, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

:20px Approved; the bot shall run without a flag since this is a relatively small one time task. Set edit rate to 1-3 per minute to avoid an RC flood. Voice-of-All 19:27, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
