I think current guidelines would prefer you to tag talk pages rather than the articles themselves, but other than that, everything seems fine. - Jarry1250 [ In the UK? Sign the petition! ] 18:09, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, it looks like the tags are on talk pages rather than in article space. This seems like a straight-forward categorizing task that would make articles available to interested editors, particularly if it's on the talk page. I don't see any issues. That's my opinion. --68.127.233.138 (talk) 04:56, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
:{{BotTrial|edits=100}} Shouldn't be too taxing to tag talk page, god knows why anyone would complain. - Jarry1250 [ In the UK? Sign the petition! ] 18:23, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
::{{BotWithdrawn}} – This task has completed; it didn't even take 100 edits. First I was having issues because the bot was tagging articles in these categories that weren't U.S. county articles; I fixed this by adding a filter for ", " and a state name. Also, the estimated number of pages affected was way too high because it included non-articles (almost every article has a corresponding category, etc.). Once I'd ironed the bugs out of the trial, the task was complete because there were almost no U.S. county articles not tagged. I verified this with AWB, loading the list of articles within these categories and taking the symmetric difference of articles transcluding {{tl|Infobox U.S. County}}. 0 pages.
