:Nominator's rationale: Delete. Subcategories for this category were previously upmerged, but not to this category; and :Category:American people of European descent is not maintained for individuals for the same reasons for deleting this category, so an upmerge there is unnecessary. The majority of U.S. citizens have been of European descent, so there isn't, according to the majority of WP contributors, encyclopedic value for this category. Moreover, there are next to no sources for ancestry claims in general, including here. (Ultimately, all WP categories for ancestry need to be deleted for this reason.) • Delete This is not a useful category. I am also thinking that there needs to be some inspection of the whole :Category:Americans of European descent and its subcats. These suffer from lots of inclusions with no support from the article. They also suffer from some people who get laudry-lists of their ancestral origins with no clear reason why it matters to that person. :Nominator's rationale: (might be speedy, but I don't know how to do this with Twinkle.) Should be renamed to "Correct title templates", because the main template of this category was [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=move&user=&page=Template%3AWrong+title&year=&month=-1&tagfilter= renamed] (this move is a bit random, it's not completely visible to me as a normal user).
