:Propose renaming :Category:Ground-based aviation electronic systems to :Category:Aeronautical navigation systems

:Nominator's rationale: As it stands, this is a rather awkwardly named category that (previously) incuded a number of aeronautical aids to navigation, air traffic control radar, and air traffic control itself. With the latter two removed (to the appropriate :Category:Air traffic control), however, a clear and logical scope emerges; hence, the proposed renaming. :Propose renaming :Category:Album covers to :Category:Audio recording covers or :Category:Covers of albums and singles

:Nominator's rationale: Rename. Per concerns at Template_talk:Non-free_album_cover#Proposed_change:_clarify_that_this_doesn.27t_just_apply_to_albums, the thread for renaming the associated template has been recently opened there. Brandmeister t 03:05, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

:::*Well At the risk of just being overly technical, I really like :Category:Covers to audio recordings the best, in case there is anything other than an album or a single (as EPs are sometimes considered.) —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 03:04, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

::::*But that introduces a massive ambiguity, in the same fashion as I said above. Not as severe, true, but it's still there. - The Bushranger One ping only 03:56, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

  • Keep as is. I see no problem with this. It's not categorizing articles, but files when using the {{tl|Non-free album cover}} template. The definition just doesn't have to be as straightforward or strict in these cases. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 09:27, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
