:Nominator's rationale: It seems awkward to group regions of various types into one category, especially since everything else in :Category:Fictional regions is placed into separate subcategories. If there is nothing that is not already in :Category:Middle-earth forests, :Category:Middle-earth realms, or an appropriate subcategory of :Category:Fictional regions, or the new categories would be too small, then it can be deleted. 108.210.216.40 (talk) 14:33, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

• Keep – there are 39 articles at the top level of :Category:Fictional regions. This seems a perfectly reasonable intersection of :Category:Fictional regions and :Category:Middle-earth locations. Oculi (talk) 17:03, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
• Weak keep. Given the scope of Tolkien's work, categories like this are useful. Yes, it's unique... for now, but I can imagine something similar developing for the Song of Fire and Ice realms, too, and it bears comparison with {{cl|The Chronicles of Narnia countries}}.
