:* Propose deleting {{Lc|Bisexual members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom}}
:Nominator's rationale: It's not useful to diffuse {{cl|LGBT members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom}} into separate subcategories for each individual "quadrant" of the LGBT community, or to diffuse {{cl|Bisexual politicians}} into separate subcategories for each individual political role that bisexual people might hold. Our rule for LGBT people categories is to diffuse them into separate L, G, B and T subcategories only when they're large enough to need subcatting for size control purposes, and to leave them at the common "LGBT" level otherwise. Upmerging is largely unneeded here, because with the isolated exception of Victor Grayson (who should be readded to {{cl|LGBT members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom}} and {{cl|Bisexual politicians}} accordingly), all of the other 11 entries in this category were simply double-catted here without being removed from either of the parent categories in the process. - Support Useless overcategorization.--Darwinek (talk) 09:54, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment -- They may not all be "out", so that this is not necessarily useful. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:02, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

:* Propose renaming :Category:Etruscan religion to :Category:Etruscan paganism
:Nominator's rationale: It's in the category tree for :Category:Paganism in Europe where it is the only non-paganism entry. (At the same time, I acknowledge that :Category:Ancient Mediterranean religions has entries that are on topics called religion...). Our usage of terminology here seems a bit inconsistent. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:55, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
Support only for the sake of consistency within this tree.Generally paganism is probably too POV. Presumably :Category:Paganism in Europe means to refer to pre-historic and pre-Christian religions in Europe. Marcocapelle (talk) 18:35, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
:* Struck earlier support per below comment. It is :Category:Paganism in Europe which may well need a rename instead. Marcocapelle (talk) 16:07, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. 'Etruscan religion' is a common scholarly term. Examples from the last few years:
::* L. Bouke van der Meer, Material aspects of Etruscan religion (2010) ISBN 9789042923669
::* Gleba & Becker, Votives, places, and rituals in Etruscan religion : studies in honor of Jean MacIntosh Turfa (2009) ISBN 9789004170452
::* N. De Grummond & E. Simon, The religion of the Etruscans (2006)
: 'Etruscan paganism' is barely used at all - a search in Google books brings up only three pages, mostly from before 1910, and nearly always in the context of an explicit contrast with Christianity. The argument based on the 'Paganism in Europe' category tree is countered, as the OP acknowledges, by the existence of the 'Ancient Mediterranean religions' tree. (If there is going to be revision, then it should probably be in changing the 'Paganism in Europe category tree which is weird inasmuch as it lumps ancient religions in with neopaganism, while excluding Greek, Roman, Celtic, and Mithraic religions. I don't think this is NPOV.) Furius (talk) 01:38, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose -- The term "pagan" literally means a country dweller and comes from a period when Christianity had become the dominant religion in towns. The present name clearly means the religion of ancient Eturia, where a non-Italic language was spoken. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:06, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

:* Propose deleting :Category:20th century in Nizhny Novgorod
:* Propose deleting :Category:Centuries in Nizhny Novgorod
:* Propose deleting :Category:Decades in Nizhny Novgorod
:* Propose deleting :Category:History of Nizhny Novgorod by period
:Nominator's rationale: merge/delete, :Category:History of Nizhny Novgorod is too poorly populated for this kind of diffusion. Note that Nizhny Novgorod is entirely unrelated to the Republic of Novgorod which was centered around Veliky Novgorod. - Support -- The first of these has a single article and the rest are presumably a twig (not tree) leading to it. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:08, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
