• Support - although it looks like a category that has been emptied out of process, it is really not clear what the creator intended to do with this category. Note that comments in this CfD seem to imply that they intended one day or another to use it in place of established {{C|Orders, decorations, and medals}}, but besides attempts at circular category inclusions this did not go very far. :* Propose splitting :Category:All redirect categories to :Category:All redirect categories and :Category:Fictional concept redirects to lists

:Nominator's rationale: Basically, this entire category is filled with categories that exist because of either {{tl|R from fictional character}}, {{tl|R from fictional location}}, {{tl|R from fictional element}}, or {{tl|R to TV episode list entry}}. Realistically, all those categories should just be found in a single parent container category that is then included in this list. This top-level container category should be a parent category for :Category:Redirects from moves, :Category:Unprintworthy redirects, etc. –MJL ‐Talk‐^☖ 06:11, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

• Alternative suggestion: Place :Category:Redirects from fictional characters, etc. and leave all the work-specific categories at the lower levels. Note that {{t|Redirect category}} will need to be modified and perhaps standalone template(s) be created for these types of redirects. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:59, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

• Support, but you do not really need CfD for that. Be bold and create the intermediate category yourself! In case automatic category inclusion done by redirect templates is an issue, you may requets help at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Redirect. Place Clichy (talk) 17:12, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
• Oppose specific name suggested as we already have :Category:Redirects from fictional elements and {{cat|Fictional element redirects to lists‎}}. Note that these are not about fictional elements (chemical) but concepts, characters, locations etc (i.e. {{c|elements of fiction}}). No objection to the general idea of splitting fiction-related redirects from others, but I suggest that :Category:Redirects from fictional elements should be used as the catch-all in the relevant redirect templates, rather than a new additional category. I do agree that it is wise to have brought this to CfD rather than implementing it boldly. Please do not rush to close it; I have left a notice at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Redirect. – Fayenatic London 13:46, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
• Support any type of containerization. My preference would be to repurpose :Category:Redirects from fictional elements, :Category:Redirects from fictional locations and :Category:Redirects from fictional characters to categories for all these categories similar to what I think Fayenatic London was suggesting. --Trialpears (talk) 23:21, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

:Nominator's rationale: The Catholic University of America rather unusually has two law schools: a "standard" one and a School of Canon Law. It's highly unlikely that they'll ever get a third law school. Per WP:SMALLCAT: delete and upmerge to :Category:Colleges and schools of the Catholic University of America. :Nominator's rationale: In the current setup, any Taiwanese boy-band or girl-group that becomes the subject of an article will automatically be marked as an "idol" by Wikipedia. This does not seem like a good assumption to make. A better approach would be to do what :Category:Japanese idol groups does and classify the groups as "related" categories. However, in this case, :Category:Taiwanese pop music groups appears to have the same content with a few extra loose entries. Therefore the "idol" category is redundant and should be deleted. :*Edit: I just noticed that my above statement was not quite correct... :Category:Taiwanese co-ed groups was only in the nominated category. However, after some minimal reorganizing :Category:Taiwanese idol groups and :Category:Taiwanese pop music groups are the same so it is safe to delete the former.
