• Comment: This may be unnecessarily pedantic, but the first Saudi state existed from 1744–1818, and the second Saudi state from 1824–1891. Do we need to capture all that detail in the category tree? I don't know, I'm neutral on deleting these. --Cerebellum (talk) 15:19, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
• Support, Emirate of Diriyah is the only article in these categories that really is about the 18th century. If more articles would have existed I would have suggested merging all of it to :Category:Emirate of Diriyah. 21:39, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

:Nominator's rationale: While it's true that some organizations are called "societies", there isn't a meaningful or defining distinction between "societies" and other types of organizations in this context — so the result was that some non-"society" organizations were getting filed here anyway, while others were just being thrown directly into the parent {{cl|Storytelling}} instead.
