:* Propose deleting {{lc|Classical antiquity in modern art and culture}}

:Nominator's rationale: Unclear/confusing scope. There is no article defining the concept (main/parent article). We don't have category trees for "in modern art and culture", nor "in art and culture". This is a subcat to :Category:Topics in culture and :Category:Topics in the arts, as far as I can tell, the only such category merging parent cats into one. It has spawned three children: :Category:Ancient Greece in art and culture, :Category:Hellenistic period in modern art and culture, :Category:Roman Empire in art and culture, the latter with :Category:Ancient Rome in art and culture. I suggest deleting it as well as the four named child categories as the simplest solution, I don't think there'll be any information loss. _{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here} 11:36, 22 May 2022 (UTC)

• It is not clear why these categories should be deleted. Deletion will obviously lead to a loss of navigation routes. Rescoping, renaming and/or splitting seem to be more plausible options. Marcocapelle (talk) 12:53, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
• Rename - Some of the subcategories are "cultural depictions of ..." or "in popular culture". The latter is deplored as liable to attract trivia. I suspect that :Category:Cultural depictions of classical antiquity might be an appropriate rename, for what should probably be a container. But purge any trivia. • :@Peterkingiron That could work, although per my comments at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Culture#Naming_of_articles_in_Category:Topics_in_culture:_time_for_consistency? I'd suggest :Category:Classical antiquity in culture (for consistency with :Category:Topics in culture, which is not :Category:Cultural depictions of topics. • Keep, seems fine and navigation-worthy. No trivia (as if there's something wrong with trivia). Deletion runs really need to focus on the worse of the worse and not good topics such as this. Randy Kryn (talk) 16:10, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

:Nominator's rationale: Umm, I'm not sure quite what process led this category to this point, but the WP:COMMONNAME for someone who performs miracles is just "miracle worker" - and this is the case by a considerable margin: a fact which a simple Ngrams search makes really [https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=wonderworker%2Cmiracle+worker%2Cthaumaturge%2C+thaumaturgist&year_start=1800&year_end=2019&corpus=26&smoothing=3&direct_url=t1%3B%2Cwonderworker%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cmiracle%20worker%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cthaumaturge%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cthaumaturgist%3B%2Cc0#t1%3B%2Cwonderworker%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cmiracle%20worker%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cthaumaturge%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cthaumaturgist%3B%2Cc0 quite evident.] 'Wonderworkers' is archaic, odd English and not the typical way anyone would ever refer to this grouping.
