::Oppose - It may not be a popular sport now, but it seems likely to grow in the future. California is the place that is being targeted by Major League Cricket and the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics for cricket to grow, and the Bay Area in particular has a large South Asian diaspora which is noted for being big supporters of cricket. ::Oppose I feel this is WP:TOOSOON. As stated above, the U.S. has been a center of attention for cricket as of late and is being targeted in anticipation for the T20 World Cup next year, as well as 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Not to mention, the introduction of Major League Cricket has further enticed major resurgence of the sport in the U.S., and California. Right now, we are at the epicenter of the growth of the cricket in the U.S. and should wait and see if it truly takes off, or just flips dead (hoping it’s the former, though! Fingers crossed…). • Merge for now not enough articles right now to justify a separate category. If the situation changes in 5 years time as there are a lot more notable cricket teams there, then it would be reasonable to re-create/unmerge the category then. " There are categories for so many powers that could have the same issue (ex :Category:Fictional characters with fire or heat abilities), but we easily get around that by just limiting to characters in which it's a defining ability.
