:Nominator's rationale: Dedicated category for the downtown core of a midsized suburban city not nearly large enough to need separate subcategories for each individual neighbourhood within it. While subcategorization by district, neighbourhood or borough can be done for major metropolitan global cities with populations in the millions which need the subcategories for size control (e.g. New York City, Paris or London), Brampton isn't in that elite class of places, and district categories do not automatically need to exist for every district of every city across the board -- and with just four things filed here, Downtown Brampton isn't nearly large or globally prominent enough to need special treatment that most cities' downtowns aren't getting.
Everything in here is already in other subcategories of {{cl|Brampton}} as it is, so they're already appropriately categorized and upmerging to the parent isn't needed. Bearcat (talk) 15:46, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

::I was able to move some films from the "Censorship in Bangladesh" category to the "Film censorship in Bangladesh" category. Additionally, I quickly skimmed and was able to find some more films that were censored in Israel. Mellamelina (talk) 14:44, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

• Oppose merge I think :Category:Film censorship by country is useful for navigation, so I don't mind keeping the 1-article subcategories. Note that the Bangladesh and Israel categories are now well populated. Also agree with Marcocapelle that :Category:Film censorship by country is the wrong merge target. • Oppose merge: yes, we need these categories and they can receive more articles. Example for Portugal: see p. 532-533 [https://estudogeral.sib.uc.pt/bitstream/10316/113444/1/48_21.pdf here], some Portuguese films were cut, other banned, other approved, it is therefore defining/neutral/verifiable and can/should be kept.
