:Nominator's rationale: Delete and recategorize; this is supposed to be a category for what is known as "Hello Girls" who were switchboard operators but also has women who seemingly had nothing to do with it - not sure how it helps with navigation. • If kept, rename to :Category:Women personnel of the United States Army Signal Corps. Hello Girls is the colloquial name, but :Category:Personnel of Hello Girls would not make sense. If not kept, merge to :Category:Switchboard operators. Marcocapelle (talk) 16:38, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

Per the article: "Individual operators were gradually discharged through 1919, with the final operator being discharged on January 20, 1920." The WGSRPD hierarchy is discussed in detail at Wikipedia:WikiProject Plants/World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions. The term "realm" is not used in this system.

:::I would also oppose the three names :Category:Flora of the Tropical Atlantic, :Category:Flora of the Tropical Eastern Pacific and :Category:Flora of the Western Indo-Pacific as being confusing with existing well-defined WGSRPD categories such as :Category:Flora of the Pacific and :Category:Flora of tropical Asia and their subcategories. • I support {{U|Declangi}}'s comment, and strongly oppose any change that either alters the name used in the WGSRPD (such as :Category:Flora of the Antarctic to :Category:Flora of the Antarctic realm) or creates a name that can be confused with its name for a flora distribution unit. :Nominator's rationale: Underpopulated stub category, not approved by WikiProject stub sorting. As always, stub categories are not free for just any user to create on a whim for just any topic of their choosing -- a stub category requires at least 60 articles in it before it can be created, so its creation has to be authorized by the WikiProject in order to ensure that there are actually enough articles to justify it. But this didn't go through the proper process, and was created solely to parent the Maghrebian people stubs category that has been listed below for similar reasons.

It would probably be better to rename all of the categories to match option 'A' than to increase the potential for confusion by giving another category an awkward name, just because similar categories have equally awkward names. • Comment as the creator, this was an attempt to unclog the :Category:International baseball competitions in Europe, except I had started from the wrong end as the real problem was the non diffusing inclusion within there and its subcategories, sometimes by three levels. I ran out of time to fix the created categories.
