Especially non-Latin ones; you might receive some criticism for having a username that cannot easily be pronounced by others or typed on a standard English-layout keyboard. At least "Σ" is a letter; "»" is a punctuation mark. But from a technical standpoint, it will be fine in templates and I can't think of any scripts here on enwiki that would break since English doesn't use that character. But you might cause confusion or broken scripts if you ever become active on the French Wikipedia or one of the other projects in languages that use that punctuation character.
