The Arbitration Committee has, after the Genetically modified organisms case was closed, amended the remedies that apply to this topic area on the following occasions:

• January 2016: DS topic scope expanded to include "the companies that produce" commercially produced agricultural chemicals (motion)
• August 2020: Scope of 1RR expanded to reflect 19 January 2016 motion (motion)

The Arbitration Committee resolved requests for clarification or amendment on topic-wide remedies on the following occasions:

• May 2016: The Committee declined to mandate a binding RfC on a dispute (archived request)
• June 2016: The Committee clarified that the use of discretionary sanctions to enforce a binding RfC was an allowable use of discretionary sanctions (archived request)
