  • It's a nice photo surely, but it needs some restoration. Hey, my dear @{{u|Adam Cuerden}}, could you help us? ArionStar (talk) 20:25, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

:*@ArionStar: Could you please stop requesting others to do restoration (or other things) for you, or for anyone else? That's one of the reason you were blocked on Commons, so... Yann (talk) 17:42, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

::*This is not for me, this is to help someone's nomination, so… Any problem with it? ArionStar (talk) 17:48, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

:::*Yeah, actually some of us including me do have a problem with it. Calling other users "my dear" and relying on them at every moment for nominations that are primarily yours is nothing but lazy. At least I try to restore images now, so at every instant maybe don't try to call upon Adam. I agree with Yann Wcamp9 (talk) 20:17, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

::::*It's not lazy, I'm banned on Commons, impossible the uploading… ArionStar (talk) 21:25, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

:::::*If you're banned from commons, why are you here? Wcamp9 (talk) 22:03, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

::::::*I'm reviewing images on Wikipedia, as it is allowed. ArionStar (talk) 22:28, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

:::::::*It seems as is on commons your behavior is super inappropriate and this is clearly not the first time we’ve told you this. You can’t nominate tens of images a day and then request others to do work for you. Reviewing images is fine, what you’re doing is another thing - nominating them too many times. this is why none of them pass, because you overlook simple things and have a quantity over quality mindset Wcamp9 (talk) 18:35, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

::::::::*None of them pass? ArionStar (talk) 00:08, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

:::::::::*Anyway, I recently found out I can upload my own pictures on Wiki, so I'm considering testing something with a Canon EOS R[number]. ArionStar (talk) 00:46, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

:::::::::*Yes, almost none. Again Arion image review is not all you do. You repeatedly spam images and ask others to restore what you nominate. Not all these images are the best anyway -- you've nominated images that you took from your iPhone. So thats why practically none have passed Wcamp9 (talk) 18:27, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

::::::::::*Yes, an entry-level Canon camera is definitely better… ArionStar (talk) 19:26, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

::::*+1. I agree with Yann and Wcamp9. -- Basile Morin (talk) 02:08, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

::::*It's also important to consider the cultural aspect. Arion comes from a very picturesque place (I’m not sure if I can mention it for privacy reasons), where people constantly help each other and share a strong sense of community, unlike in other cultures. A good comparison would be someone raised in a small town versus someone from a big city, where people tend to be more distant. BTW, But I agree with reducing the number of nominations. Take your time and aim to nominate just one image per week, giving yourself the chance to carefully consider whether it’s truly worth it. Wilfredor (talk) 04:28, 13 February 2025 (UTC)

::*+1. Yes, Yann is right. -- Basile Morin (talk) 02:08, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
