A non-free image as used for decorative purposes in the Watts family murders article. The omission would not be detrimental to understanding; fails WP:NFCC #8. --K.e.coffman (talk) 06:08, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

  • Keep The file is used in the article about the family that was murdered to illustrate the family. Aspects (talk) 23:18, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Nom's comment: The article is not about the Watts family, but about their murders. To be contextually significant, the image would need to reflect the topic of the article, for example, by by depicting the site where the bodies were recovered. --K.e.coffman (talk) 01:06, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Delete. Decorative. Removal of the photo would not affect readers' understanding of the article. Stifle (talk) 14:52, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

A mug shot of a living individual as it appears in Watts family murders. The omission would not be detrimental to understanding; fails WP:NFCC #8. --K.e.coffman (talk) 06:10, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

  • Delete Since he is still alive, a free image could be used of him and he is in the other file that identifies the murder victims, :File:Watts-family.jpg that is in use in the article. Aspects (talk) 23:20, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
