The 2012 November-December GAN Review Round is a month-long effort (originally organized by the GAN WikiProject and other users) to reduce the backlog of Good Article nominations. Please make sure that you read the whole Good Article review process before starting to review an article, and that you are very familiar with the GA criteria and the WP:Manual of Style. It is strongly recommended reading the essays What the Good article criteria are not and Reviewing good articles. This drive is under the purview of the following coordinators: Hahc21, Wizardman and Aircorn. If you have questions, leave a message on the drive's talk page. This drive began on 17 November 2012 00:00 UTC and is scheduled to end on 18 December 2012 on 00:00 UTC.
The goal of this backlog elimination drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations to below 200 (about half of what it is currently), and it is expected that all nominees before September would be reviewed, as well as the reduction of the sections with most nominations (listed below). Notwithstanding, all nominations listed at WP:GAN are eligible to be reviewed. Awards will be given out to those individuals who do the most work in helping reduce the size of the backlog.

The aim is to finish the drive with no nominations older than one month left in the queue, although all nominations listed at GAN count towards drive points. Any review with a redlink has yet to be reviewed, while reviews with blue links are being reviewed by someone else. When you have finished your review sign your name in the table and indicate whether you have passed or failed the article. Quick-fails will not be counted. Article reviews started before December 18, 2012 but completed before [or by] January 1, 2013 are eligible to be counted into the running total. Reviews started before November 17, 2012 do not count. |
