{{Vandal|John Daker}} was an unwelcome contributor who made hoax pages like today's Huff Daland Dusters (pertaining to Delta Air Lines). He also made some contributions to airliner articles that were not useful. His account was globally locked by steward Vituzzu on [https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/John_Daker January 15, 2013] as a Vandalism-only account. As of {{#time:F j, Y}}, there are at least {{#expr:{{PAGESINCAT:Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_John_Daker}}+5}} confirmedincluding 6 pages that are untagged and cannot be created and {{PAGESINCAT:Suspected Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_John_Daker}} suspected sockpuppets of John DakerThe actual number is higher because some pages are left uncreated as a result of the deny recognition policy. NawlinWiki protected these titles from creation because of that policy. including usernames with Huff Daland Dusters related and usernames containing Daker and impersonations of {{Admin|NawlinWiki}} and {{Admin|DeltaQuad}} (see below for all impersonating usernames)

He blanked pages with sockpuppet tags of John Daker which are not protected, then are fully protected immediately to prevent further disruption.

When the user edited as {{user|2}} for over three years, {{Gender|2}} retired in January 2011, then performed a clean start about 17 months later and created the username {{user|81M}}. 81M's block by {{user|J.delanoy}} who was admin at that time and had CheckUser capabilities was unblocked later with the reason "{{tq|not sure of this yet}}". Although most edits were not related to the sock prior to CheckUser evidence, there was enough CheckUser evidence that it was a sockpuppet of John Daker along with 2, because they seem to be using the same IP address range. It is possible that 2's account was hijacked by John Daker. The creation of the user account "2" may be a precursor to this ongoing series of John Daker sock puppets.

The situation has changed to add some Nintendo-related articles damaged by replacing some instances with Daker.

On July 27, 2016, a sock puppet of John Daker named {{user|Johnny and Huff}} blanked Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of John Daker, which resulted in the protection of it and Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of John Daker from editing by new and unregistered users.
