The meetups is intended to be structured as follows —Introductions, a few focused talks by Wikipedians to share experience / expertise followed by demos and open discussions on topics of common interest.

Anyone interested in Wikipedia (user, contributor or curious about it). Wikipedians from any part of India or the world and anyone who is interested in Wikipedia! Meetup is open to members of all Wikimedia projects and Wikipedians from all languages. All are welcome, and we are especially interested in seeing newcomers to join the experienced Wikipedians/Wikimedians. If you are interested in coming, please add your name below.

Session1:Introduction to Wikipedia and wiki projects

• - Introduction about Wikipedia and Wikipedia
• - Current status of Wikipedia

Session2:Introduction to Editing in Wikipedia

• - How to edit any page in Wikipedia
• - How to add Bold, Italicised, === Headings === and "sign" and other commonly used syntaxes
• - How to add references and external links
• - Editing conflicts and how to solve them
• - What to write and what NOT to add in Wikipedia

Post Session2 discussions:

• - Why Wikipedia?
• - Recent developments and new features added in Wikipedia
• - Future deveopment and possible opportunities with Wikipedia
• - Discussion of common problems raised (And by audience)
• - Display and typing issues and solution
• - Building community
• - Translation issues & possible measures to solve them
• - Incubation of new projects for students in Wikipedia
• - Future Projects for Wikipedia
