At February's AAAS conference there will be FOUR editathons focused on science topics, for beginners and experts alike. Welcome to Wikipedia's Year of Science! For these events, participants must be either attendees at the AAAS conference, or experienced Wikimedians selected as moderators.

A laptop computer or tablet. We'll have WiFi.

During or before event

Create a Wikipedia account
While logged into your Wikipedia account, visit [https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/American_Association_for_the_Advancement_of_Science/AAAS_2016_conference_%28winter_2016%29?enroll=vjnwghxp the course dashboard] and click "Join course" (under the Actions heading on the right sidebar). This permits identification of your Wikipedia edits.
