- :Any conventional event is cancelled due to COVID-19
- :Online event proposed
- :Request - can Wiki NYC make a commitment to organize a symposium after the model of the COVID-19 symposium for this online event?
- :expectation: if Wiki NYC can make a commitment like this, it is not so much, but that commitment can be enough for others to crowdsource an online conference
- :imagined entry level conference: an amount of online activity, over 3 days, equal to about 5 symposiums
- :This is not like an in person conference, but now is time for a compromise, and maybe this is enough to make a fun event
- :as always, everyone looks to Wiki NYC to coordinate a response to the conference planning
