Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

Want to make a difference in the collective bodies of human knowledge we call wikis? Want to call yourself a Wikipedian? If you've been using Wikipedia for years and never edited, let's fix that! We will go through a few simple steps to get everyone ready to edit. We are a fun, diverse, supportive group with different areas of expertise. You can contribute to any topic that interests you. Or, if you are a Grammar King or Queen, you can improve the grammar in existing wiki articles.

This is community-service learning and evidence-based learning, perfect for students. You can use research papers you are already working on and help improve related articles. Even if you can't join us in person, there are lots of ways to enjoy this experience. Post your questions and comments - we'll get you connected.
