Mission Valley Branch library is in a [https://goo.gl/maps/wfQ3SxToDTA2 central location] located not too far from the beginning of Interstate 15, Interstate 8, and along a San Diego Trolley line which has a station in walking distance.

The goal of this wikithon are:
- Assist current and new users to contribute to one of the many Wikimedia projects, including Wikipedia
- Update attendees on the current status of the user group application
