The adventurous, with hiking experience, are cordially invited to join Railroad bronies, and your fellow Wikipedians, on a hike from a resort north of Jacumba Hot Springs proper to Goat Canyon Trestle. This will be the 46th meetup held in San Diego County.

=Getting there=
There is only one public transit option to get to Jacumba Hot Springs, which is the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System [https://www.sdmts.com/sites/all/themes/mts/templates/sdg/pdf/892.pdf rural route 888], which does not operate eastbound in the morning.
The best option is to contact other hike attendees and carpool; bring cash to pay for parking at the resort (~$5/person).
=What to bring=
Here is a list of suggested items to bring for the hike:
- Hiking shoes/boots
- Warm weather, full cover clothing
- Sturdy backpack
- Plenty of water
- Flashlight/headlamp
- Camera
- Food/Snacks
- Other hiking equipment
- Hiking stick
- Map
- Compass
