Architects.Build.Wiki launched in 2021 to improve the online coverage of underrepresented Black Architects and their buildings. We are beginning with a focus on Detroit and Michigan, and plan to expand the campaign throughout the United States.

Participants can expect to learn about editing Wikipedia and related websites like Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata, and to learn about the rich legacy Black architects have left in Detroit and throughout the U.S.

No prior knowledge of architecture or Wikipedia editing is required; help will be available throughout the event. The event is free and open to all.
