The result of the debate was withdrawn. I won't fight consensus, and I can see where this one is going. neuro(talk) 12:01, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

WP:NOT#MYSPACE. I usually wouldn't nom, but notice that this user clearly will continue - [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Gogo_Dodo&diff=256707064&oldid=256706760 "Wiki is a social site"], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Gogo_Dodo&diff=256706130&oldid=256705906 "Jew (you maybe?) is so evil"] neuro(talk) 22:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Keep I think this is just a very lost new editor. In the grand scheme of things, the user page isn't that big of a deal. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:48, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
  • However, if we apply the 'it doesn't hurt' rationale to every page, then Wiki overflows with extraneous waffle. I'm not saying what you are saying isn't true, I just don't think that such a page is salvageable, or even if the owner is willing to salvage it. neuro(talk) 22:51, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
  • I don't know if they are willing to salvage the user page or not. Perhaps we should ask? While it is true that I'm less than impressed with this editor due to the multitude of messages left on my talk page from the user, but I'm holding out hope that they will understand what I'm trying to tell them. Just a case of me being too AGF perhaps. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:21, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Keep Actually "no harm" is specifically allowed as an argument on MfD. It is not spam, it is not anything specifically barred. It does not make a lot of sense is the problem? That, in my humble opinion, is insufficient for deletion. Collect (talk) 00:55, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Keep. New users are likely to make their userpage first and not be familiar with policy. Right now I don't see a reason to delete. Let's review in a few months to see if the user in question contributed. - Mgm|(talk) 10:53, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
