Wikipedia:One reason for notability
{{essay}}
{{nutshell|When a subject is only notable for one reason, it may not be deserving of a standalone article. This is similar to the one event guideline]], but expanded to all subjects.}}
A small street appears trivially in one movie. A notable person is buried in a small cemetery. A corner store was the scene of a crime committed by a notable criminal. So there is an article on the parent subject. Now, should there be one on trivial subject as well.
The problem is, notability is not inherited. Just because A is notable does not mean B is too.
For example, there is an annual event in the city of Baltimore called Miracle on 34th Street. It is a notable annual tradition that has gone on for decades and has drawn visitors from all around the world. But what about 34th Street itself? It is a tiny little side street, one of many similar numbered streets in the city of Baltimore.
