- File description states that the image was "Never published". IIRC, this means that it isn't PD due to age (which all require publication), and the GFDL license would certainly be inaccurate. –Drilnoth (T/C) 13:29, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

- I highly doubt, based on the nature and apparent age of this image, that it was created by the uploader. –Drilnoth (T/C) 16:40, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

- Photo consists solely of a company's logomark which is presumably covered by copyright or trademark laws. Uploader has no rights to this logomark, yet released it into the public domain? Your Lord and Master (talk) 21:57, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment. I took a photo of the bottom of a Heron Cross Pottery product. I do not understand how Wikipedia can have pictures of the logos of IBM, Coca Cola, Nike etc but not this pottery company. I have no business connection with the company but I am sure they are happy for the logo to be displayed in Wikipedia. I am happy to release my photo into the public domain. :If you do not understand how the Coca Cola logo is used, then that means that you have not read the image use permissions on that page, and little to no understanding of image use policies on Wikipedia. Please read these policies before uploading more copyrighted content. Also, "I am sure they are happy for the logo to be displayed in Wikipedia" is completely and utterly against Wikipedia policies. If you do not have explicit, written permission to release the content into the public domain -- as has been explained to you countless times -- you do NOT have the right to publish it. - General note: The image isn't being used in an article anyway, so it isn't really being displayed on Wikipedia in any useful way. –Drilnoth (T/C) 12:57, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
