• Treasury website, copyright section (http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/terms_copyright.htm) section 5 is clear that images do not fall under Open Govt type licences. Not sure if this is speedy territory or not. Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:51, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
• The images are fine as they have been released under the Open Government Licence, if you look at all the Treasury Ministers all their ministerial images have been released under the OGL. This page tells people about the OGL: Commons:UK Open Government Licence and was created by the Administrator User:Jdforrester who seems to know alot about the OGL, so I would recommend people to ask for his opinion on the images as he is sort of an "expert". There is also this website http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/ where you write to Government Departments and ask for image to be released under the Open Government Licence. If you go on the National Archives and view the section about the OGL you will see that images are not exempt from usage meaning that I am free to use the images in order to make wikipedia articles better: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/doc/open-government-licence/ Yum Yum Hornblower (talk) 19:58, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

• The image of File:Mark hoban high.jpg has been released under the same copyright as the above:http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/terms_copyright.htm and was uploaded by User:Magnus Manske/User:File Upload Bot (Magnus Manske), and was then transfered by user User:Innotata. If there was something wrong with the copyright or the OGL I don't believe they would have uploaded them if they thought that there was any copyright infringement. • For the record: Commons:User:File Upload Bot (Magnus Manske) is operated by different users through a web interface. Some of the users might not know how copyright works. The uploader has removed information from this discussion multiple times.
