I propose the redirect is changed to point to User:The Rambling Man/ERRORS. This redirect should point to the place where the most errors are solved. Most admins look at this page for guidance on errors anyway, as far more are listed there than the "official" errors page Joseph2302 (talk) 20:42, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Keep WP:ERRORS should go to the official errors page, not The Rambling Man's pet project. -- Tavix (talk) 21:17, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Keep changing the target of an established redirect from a recognised community process to a userspace page which starts out by insulting people is not a good idea. Hut 8.5 21:30, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Keep Longstanding redirect that would retroactive change the meaning of thousands of links. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 21:58, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Keep, and close this disruptive nomination which has just caused an admin (me) to be interrupted while trying to reach main-page errors. Espresso Addict (talk) 22:03, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
::As far as I understand it, The Rambling Man's page is a site for him to highlight potential errors for admins to fix; the main-page errors is for all readers to report errors. It makes no sense at all to direct IPs, newbies and non-errors regulars to a private user page. Espresso Addict (talk) 23:37, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Keep it's really nice that Wikipedia has a page where errors on the main page, or about to hit the main page, are ignored. It needs to stay with this here, including this redirect. By the way, I don't think a "pet project" identifies more than 1500 errors in 2/3 of a year, but meh, let's not break up over it. The Rambling Man (talk) 23:10, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Ha ha. This might have made a good April fools day proposal... I personally monitor both the errors pages, which are handily labelled WP:ERRORS and WP:ERRORS2. Every once in a while something gets noted on the former page that even the Eagle-eyed TRM had overlooked. — Amakuru (talk) 23:30, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
