  • That's correct.. Al Ittihad means United or Union in Arabic, but our case here is a different one; sport clubs' names shouldn't be translated. For example, Eintracht Frankfurt is a German football team, and the word Eintracht in their name would mean United in English. Should we change their name to something like Frankfurt United? Of course no, and the same works with Al Ittihad Alexandria. We shouldn't have something like Alexandria Union or Alexandria United on Wikipedia just because that's the translation for their name.   • Yes, tranlsations such as these aren't suitable for article titles, but they could be plausible search terms, and that's what matters here (along with potential conflicts with other articles: there's one with Alexandria Union Station, which is in a different part of the world).
